Flat-pack design makes it easy to transport. It takes up much less space than an equivalent fully-assembled table, and it's easier to move each piece individually than wrestling with a fully-assembled table.

The center cable storage piece is already assembled and glued, but it is narrow and easy to transport with all the flat desktops and back panels

This was desk 1 of 5, made with a different supplier of oak butcher block. This one featured traditional joinery with a dadoed back panel and glued miter joints with blind splines for strength.
